Delete your Nexura account

1. Delete in the Nexura app (recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is inside the Nexura mobile app:

• Open Nexura and sign in.
• Go to Profile → Settings.
• Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
• Read the confirmation, check the consent box, and confirm deletion.

Deletion takes effect immediately for your active profile. You will be signed out on all devices.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@nexflowtech.in from the address linked to your Nexura account. Include the subject line "Delete my Nexura account" and we will verify ownership before processing the request.

3. Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove or deactivate the following from active use:

• Profile information (name, username, email, phone, bio, photos, dating/Match preferences)
• Friend and follow relationships; you disappear from search, suggestions, and social graphs
• Active sessions and push notification tokens
• Premium/subscription access tied to the account
• Your user record from active databases (archived to a deactivated DeletedUser record)

4. Data that may be kept

Some information may be retained after deletion:

• End-to-end encrypted message ciphertext already stored on our servers (we cannot read plaintext content)
• Encrypted messages may remain on other users' devices until they delete those conversations
• Deactivated account archive required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute resolution
• Billing and transaction records where retention is required by law or payment processors
• Security, analytics, and server logs for up to 24 months

5. Retention period

Most profile and social data is removed from active systems immediately upon deletion. Archived deletion records and logs may be retained for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required by law. After that, data is deleted or anonymised where possible.

6. Delete some data without deleting your account

You can update or remove profile fields, photos, posts, reels, and individual messages in the app without deleting your entire account. To request removal of specific data, contact privacy@nexflowtech.in.
